Isabella “Isa” Benkhallouk is a New York-based television production professional, writer, and creative with experience spanning scripted and unscripted development, on-set production, talent coordination, casting, and digital content. Her work is grounded in a love of character-driven storytelling and a particular interest in the people who bring stories to life, both in front of and behind the camera.

Isa earned her B.A. in Playwriting & Screenwriting from SUNY Purchase, graduating cum laude with minors in Television Theory & Practice and History. Her training spans television writing, directing, documentary and unscripted television, production, and the business of entertainment. While at Purchase, she also worked as a Professor’s Assistant in screenwriting and circus arts, supporting workshops, rehearsals, script development, and production logistics.

Her professional television experience includes production work on Peacock’s Dr. Death and AMC’s The Terror: The Devil in Silver, where she supported talent, background operations, transportation, paperwork, and day-of production logistics. Her background as a professional actor, with early credits including Sesame Street and promotional work for Comedy Central’s Broad City, gives her an additional understanding of the performer experience and continues to inform her approach to talent-facing work.

Isa is also an experienced circus artist and educator specializing in aerial arts and partner acrobatics. She has taught performers ranging from children to adults and has worked alongside professional artists with backgrounds spanning Cirque du Soleil, Ringling Bros., Big Apple Circus, Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, and Omnium Circus. Her years in circus have shaped an approach to creative work built around collaboration, trust, adaptability, and respect for performers.

Across disciplines, Isa is most interested in work that brings together storytelling, production, and people. She is building a career in television with a particular interest in production, writing and script departments, casting and talent, both scripted and unscripted programming, and variety entertainment.
